We got up on a wall at that point, which is why I suddenly have quite so many good photos! We got ahead of the elephant after it turned into Haymarket and managed to beat the crowds to that corner.

I was by the ice cream vendors at first, then I went up Suffolk Street and saw it again on Haymarket, then I went around to Picadilly Circus and caught it again. It's very moreish, isn't it? I still wanted to see more and find out how it "ends", except it doesn't of course. The crowd down the Tube was a joy of its own.

It ends tonight, there's a grand finale in Horse Guards Parade. I'm heading in for a bit before 4pm to catch it.
