Live, they reminded me a lot of the things that Robert Plant and Jimmy Page did on Un-Led-ed. And even of Erpland-era Ozric Tentacles. Not really goth at all, but also not Morris dancing music. I wonder if steer is being provocatively emphatic for the sake of effect?
