Whitby weather forecasts

I like this one best. Metcheck. (Sunny on all days, temperatures around 11-12 degrees C, at the time of posting.)

The BBC's forecast is also good, but doesn't cover Sunday yet.

Boo. Has anyone else noticed that UKWeather always has the most pessimistic forecasts, or am I the only person who regularly checks different forecast sites anyway?

UK weather continually said it was going to rain on my wedding day. I checked every available forecast site every day for about a month preceding the wedding :)

I'm betting on sunny but not too warm for Whitby.

Heh. I'm glad they were wrong about that one!

I hope Metcheck are right, sunny and 12 degrees sounds perfect!

It's certainly perfect for wall propping outside the Elsinore.

No, I regularly check different weather sites for special days - picnics, holidays & the like. Then I tend to go back to the most promising one...

I check them all obsessively if I've got something planned, although I tend to believe the worst one. I'm not usually a pessimist, only when it comes to weather!

I used to check them all the time. Then I realised that they were probably wrong, and that if it was going to rain (whatever) then there really wasn't anything I could *do* about it. These days I'm more interested in temperature predictions than whether there'll be precipitation or not.

Take an umbrella? ;)

Metcheck now says rain for Saturday. Boo!

Bah.

Is Sunday a possible for the walk instead?

I don't know when John and Graham are heading home. However, since at the moment this event is going to involve five people, three of whom are in the same accomodation, a little flexibility shouldn't be too hard.
