Documentary following legendary rockers Motorhead on a recent UK tour. Formed in 1975 by Lemmy Kilmister, they built up a reputation as heavy-drinking, drug-fuelled womanisers, and made it into the Guinness Book of Records as the loudest band ever. Almost 30 years on, 57-year-old Lemmy still drinks a bottle of bourbon a day and the band's style and music remains unchanged, but can they really survive without modernising?

Myself and Rattler were bemoaning gigs we missed recently. Does anyone still use tarts for announcements? I'm on a lot of mailing lists now, but I still miss gigs from time to time.

I don't know, I'm not sure I'm even subscribed to tarts anymore.

I tend to announce most gigs I know people will be interested in that they might not otherwise hear about, but that does mean wading through the rest of the crap I post. ;)

Seriously, I know how easy it is to miss stuff. I do tag all my upcoming gigs posts as such, if that helps.

I've even been known to mail people if I know it's their favourite band.

I think I'm going to look into Tarts and see whats up with it. I'm then going to start dumping info on gigs and clubs that might be of any interests to anyone on there, as thats what its there for.

I'm taping it as the flat upstairs have their bedroom over our living room and they're elderly. Can't defend Lemmy's fetish for Nazi memorabilia anymore though after seeing the display behind him - I guess the answer to the question in my icon is "Invade Poland", oh dear :-/

And the answer to the question is - yes. You've got to admire the changelessness of the man. And he actually seems a more pleasant person than the rest of the band, which is just plain scary.
