Glad you had a fabulous time - Iceland really is as special as everyone makes it out to be; one of the few places in the world that is guaranteed not to disappoint!!
We had a totally different experience at Gullfoss when we were there, but it was February and so there were plenty of wonderful ice shapes in the water so it looked stunning. Our photos are here (http://www.lizardphotos.org.uk/iceland) if you haven't already seen them - not quite so many as you but then we were only there for two whole days! Would love to be able to have the time/money to go back and do something similar to you :-)
