Cor, sunshine!! We only saw about two minutes of it! It's beautiful enough in the grey, let alone in the sunshine :-) I love the light out there, it's really special.
Yep, Gullfoss looks a lot better with snow and ice. I loved how clear the water was at Ãingvellir too - all those coins on the bottom that looked close enough to touch, but were actually stupendously deep down! And I love the colours of the geothermal lakes - that weird, but stunningly vivid light blue. Absolutely cracking stuff!
