Yes, the prices were extortionate even by London standards. Even basic pizza and pasta dishes were up to £20. We were looking at £30 or £40 for a main course if we had fish or meat dishes just in ordinary restaurants, that wasn't anything special. Pretty much everything has to be imported though, so it's mostly understandable.
