I think he looks great! It was premiered at Infest last night so I'm now allowed to show everyone, but I've been keeping my mouth shut since Wednesday evening, which has been HARD! He went to my hairdresser's and we've kept the hair. Not sure what he's doing with it yet. I've got my own blond lock to keep. :}

I saw him for lunch on Thursday and I must admit it did suit him, although it was a bit of a surprise.

That's the only example of someone cutting off more hair at one time than I did I've ever seen!

Sadly, it didn't occur to me to keep the hair until people kept asking me if I had. I could've had a cool wig made or something.

It's somewhat straw-like so I doubt he could make a wig, but we were offered it and we didn't know if we wanted it or not so I took it on the grounds he can always get rid of it if he doesn't want it, but he can't change his mind if he doesn't have it!

When I hacked all mine off I regretted it ... but only briefly. Well, okay, I still do from time to time, but I think that for men out of their 20's shorter hair looks a lot better. And the time saved in showering is significant!

Good lord. The world suddenly makes slightly less sense than it did five minutes ago. Simon having long hair was one of the great constants of the universe, and him having it cut short (even though it looks very smart and makes him look about five years younger) is about as unexpected and unnerving as if blue_condition said "actually I've gone off curry, decided motor racing is unspeakably tedious, and always reckoned Juliet Binoche was a bit overrated".

Here's a photograph of the last time Simon had his hair cut. It grew back a couple of years later, though.

Wow! It really does look good, though took a couple pictures to keep my head from finding it a bit disconcerting to look at. I totally agree it suits him, though, and that he looks a lot younger. Crazy how much a change in hair can also change the entire appearance of a person.

Crumbs. Another loss to the long hair brigade, but since the demise of B Movie, I suppose there's no where for him to shake his long tresses about, and perhaps it was about time. As other have said, it does accentuate just how young his face looks without them.
